Christina Sherry
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I earned my Master's of the Arts, in counseling and guidance, from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. I have also received a certificate of play therapy from Heartland Play Therapy Institute, inc. Throughout my time as a counselor, I have worked with a wide range of clients. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have worked with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and attachment concerns. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process that occurs through developing a strong therapeutic alliance. I work to guide my clients to increase awareness, gain new perspectives, and increase personal strengths in order to live a more meaningful life. It is my belief that mental health is just as important as physical health and, therefore, should be well attended to.
